Oak Forest Academy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Bowling Green on Friday. Oak Forest Academy never let Bowling Green get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Cole Covington made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Kade Perkins and Maison Bales did most of the damage at the plate: Perkins went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Bales went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
