They never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. The matchup marked the Tomcats' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Like Trenton, Tom Bean also got a great game from a two-way player: Ryan Dearmond. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Another player making a difference was Donnie Hooten, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Tom Bean was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .800. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
