DeAmor Coleman made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
Coleman wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Amoura Holloway, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Rosalyn Zermeno also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Moreau Catholic never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against St. Joseph Notre Dame on Monday. They blew past the Pilots 14-2.
Sienna Rios and Lexi Mejia did most of the damage at the plate: Rios went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Mejia went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Ritchie, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Salesian College Preparatory's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Moreau Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Salesian College Preparatory came up short against Moreau Catholic in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, falling 5-1. Can the Pride avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
