Jonathan Flores Delivers Best Effort of Season
Jonathan Flores produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Vela to the win on Thursday. Flores' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 131 rushing yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 68 yards.
The win for Vela keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Flores and Vela will face off against Palmview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Adrian Botello Has Career-Day on Thursday
Rowe came up short on Thursday despite Adrian Botello delivering his best game to date. For the season, Castillo has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 49.2 receiving yards per game.
