Lumberton will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against South View at 6:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Lumberton had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Lumberton weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 12-16 to Westover last Thursday.
South View also just played their first game, also were on the road, and also didn't get the result they wanted. They took a 6-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hoke County.
