 Lincolnton got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  LJ Smith IV out in front who  dropped  a double-double with 20 points and ten  rebounds. Smith IV is  crushing it when it comes to  points: he's   scored at least 19 every time he's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tyler McClain, who  went 6-for-11  to rack up 20 points.
Lincolnton is  on a roll lately: they've  won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record  this season. Maiden's loss  ended  a  17-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 22-6.
 Looking ahead, Lincolnton will challenge Salisbury at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lincolnton knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 29 contests -- so hopefully Salisbury likes a good challenge. Maiden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
