In what's become a running theme this season, the Summit Christian Academy Warriors gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They breezed by Varsity Opponent at home to the tune of 61-20. Winning may never get old, but Summit Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Summit Christian Academy was led to victory by Quinten Mason and Braden Wheeler. Mason scored 15 points along with nine steals, while Wheeler dropped a double-double on 22 points and 21 rebounds. Wheeler also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Minor, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Summit Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Varsity Opponent, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 14 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 305-1165-2 record this season.
Summit Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Varsity Opponent at 12:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against Great Lakes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
