Bethel Assembly Christian Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lauren Taylor, who scored 17 points along with 4 blocks. Another player making a difference was Coleen Askew, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals.
Bethel Assembly Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Ahoskie Christian, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethel Assembly Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Bern Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Ahoskie Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Gramercy Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
