After three games on the road, Peebles is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the North Adams Green Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Peebles, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-39 loss to Fairfield. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Peebles has scored all season.
Meanwhile, North Adams ended up a good deal behind Minford last Tuesday and lost 53-35. While losing is never fun, North Adams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while Minford is ranked 108th).
Peebles' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for North Adams, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Peebles couldn't quite finish off North Adams in their previous matchup back in January and fell 55-52. Can Peebles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
