Andrews Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Audrey Simpson, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Havvah Schnepp was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
The win (which was Andrews Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. As for Georgia-Cumberland Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Andrews Academy on the road again on Saturday and play against Shenandoah Valley Academy at 9:00 p.m. on January 13th. As for Georgia-Cumberland Academy, they will square off against Dalton Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dalton Academy has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30.
