King's Academy is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest victory since January 19, 2024 on Thursday. They blew past Berean Christian 68-33. King's Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Honour Mays, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points. The dominant performance gave Mays a new career-high in points. Isaiah McCoy was another key player, putting up eight points along with 12 rebounds and four blocks.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Centennial ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. King's Academy better keep an eye on Jayden Prosper. He was instrumental in Centennial's win, going 8 of 13 en route to 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Felix Buroz, who posted five points in addition to ten assists, eight steals, and seven boards.
King's Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.
