Unity Christian waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Newell-Fonda Mustangs with a sharp 10-1 win. Considering the Knights have won six games by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Unity Christian pushed their record up to 7-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Newell-Fonda, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Unity Christian will be playing at home against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The NIGHTHAWKS have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Newell-Fonda, they are taking a road trip to face off against Emmetsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The E'Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
