The Rich Rebels waltzed into their contest on Saturday with 12 straight wins but they left with 13. They walked away with a 46-39 victory over Tabiona. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rich also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Hannah Scott was nothing short of spectacular: she scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Violett Taylor, who scored ten points along with two blocks.
Rich's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Tabiona, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-4.
Rich will head out on the road to square off against Wendover at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rich focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Saturday. As for Tabiona, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Tintic at 5:30 p.m. Tabiona is facing Tintic at the right time seeing as Tintic is stuck on a eight-game losing streak.
