Minor had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against the Theodore Bobcats by a score of 69-62. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 49-46 victory the Bobcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2015.

Minor is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Theodore, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Minor will take on Carbon Hill in a tournament on Thursday. Carbon Hill will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Minor surely won't give up without a fight. As for Theodore, they will be taking part in a tournament against Jackson at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Theodore knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Jackson likes a good challenge.
