Los Alamos will challenge Gallup on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Los Alamos have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
It was all tied up at the half for Los Alamos and Bloomfield last Friday, but Los Alamos stepped up in the second half. Los Alamos walked away with a 28-20 win over Bloomfield. The success made it back-to-back wins for Los Alamos.
Meanwhile, after soaring high against Window Rock two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground. Gallup took a serious blow against Espanola Valley, falling 6-48.
Los Alamos's victory lifted them to 3-1 while Gallup's loss dropped them down to 1-4. We'll find out if Los Alamos can add another positive mark to their record or if Gallup can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Los Alamos's step.
