Despite the defeat, Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame saw an underclassman step up: Annelise Curran dropped a double-double on 35 points and 13 steals. That was a full 68.6% of Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Cecelia Wallblom was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Northport's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
