Cactus Shadows put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their undefeated season alive. Everything went their way against the Peoria Panthers as Cactus Shadows made off with a 22-1 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.
Jeremy Larson looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024.
On the hitting side, Henry Verhamme was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Benson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
