The Aggies' pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with a 20-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Aggies, who have now won three games in a row.

The Aggies let Trent Williams and Mason Holloway run wild. Williams got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base, while Holloway went 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and one RBI. Those four runs gave Williams a new career-high. Dylan Frederick was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
The Aggies were getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .536. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .441 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when the Lions challenged the Tigers on Friday. The Lions blew past the Tigers 15-3.
Braedyn Lackie was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Tez Danner and J.D. Whitaker did most of the damage at the plate: Danner went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI, while Whitaker went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Jaxson Bigham, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
The Lions' win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for the Aggies, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. The Aggies haven't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .359.
