A well-balanced attack led Community Christian over Faith Christian Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Cyclones blew the Conquerors out of the water with a 69-42 final score. The Cyclones have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 27 points or more this season.

Community Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Beamon led the charge by dropping a double-double with 19 points and 24 boards. Those 24 rebounds gave Beamon a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Evan Gattis, who shot 47% from the field en route to 20 points and three steals.

Community Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Faith Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Jaxon Howard, who posted 17 points along with eight boards and four steals. The contest was Howard's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Kelly, who had nine points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Community Christian's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points on average over those games. As for Faith Christian Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2.

Community Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 86-44 win against Faith Christian on the 13th. As for Faith Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 74-52 victory against Coastal Brigade on the 18th.
