Section 4 B Division IV recap Oct. 31, 2012
Owego Free Academy moved up to 246 from 307 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 4 B Division IV. The Indians climbed the ranks as a result of besting Newark Valley 44-15.
Maine-Endwell extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Norwich, 55-7. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Spartans.
Owego Free Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brandon Morris threw for 157 yards and Zach House had 59 yards receiving. On the ground Dylan Angulas chipped in 49 yards. Jonathan Ripic helped Owego Free Academy's passing attack out by catching four balls for 46 yards.
Owego Free Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Morris has thrown for 685 yards and two touchdowns this season, while House has 14 catches for 254 yards. House leads the league in rushing with 650 yards.
Maine-Endwell took down the Tornadoes 55-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
