The Terry Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Lanier Bulldogs, and things went their way on Saturday too. Terry managed a 50-44 victory over Lanier.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Terry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marleya Myers, who scored 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Elisiah Branson, who scored 12 points.
Terry pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Lanier, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.
Terry will head out on the road to face off against Greenville at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lanier will be home for the holidays to greet Northwest Rankin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
