The Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Terra Ceia Christian 62-40. Considering Eastern Christian HomeSchool has won nine matches by more than 21 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Eastern Christian HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bre Ange out in front who scored 18 points. The match was Ange's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Kaylee Ange was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Terra Ceia Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Leah Harrison, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, and Harley James who scored seven points. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Eastern Christian HomeSchool pushed their record up to 15-0 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Terra Ceia Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Eastern Christian HomeSchool and Columbia will round out the year against one another at 11:00 a.m. on December 28th at. Columbia comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Terra Ceia Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pungo Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Hopefully Pungo Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Monday.
