San Marcos will look to defend their home turf on Thursday against Oceanside at 5:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
San Marcos came within a touchdown against Grossmont last Thursday, but wound up with a 6-20 loss.
Meanwhile, Oceanside had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 20-13 win over Westview.
Oceanside's victory lifted them to 2-0 while San Marcos's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Oceanside can add another positive mark to their record or if San Marcos can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Oceanside's step.
