The Hollins Royals lost to the Osceola Warriors back in December of 2022, but the Hollins Royals didn't allow the Osceola Warriors the same satisfaction on Thursday. Hollins came out on top against Osceola by a score of 60-47.
Hollins got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aidan Lemons out in front who scored 18 points along with five assists. Lemons has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Miller, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Hollins' win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Osceola, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hollins will take on Pinellas Park at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Osceola won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tarpon Springs at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Tarpon Springs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Tuesday.
