The Draper APA Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Joseph as Draper APA made off with a 83-59 win. The victory was just what Draper APA needed coming off of a 78-57 loss in their prior contest.
Draper APA was led to victory by Carter Vijayaraghavan and Luke Greenwell. Vijayaraghavan dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds, while Greenwell scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Greenwell scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Parker Overby, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Draper APA's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for St. Joseph, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Draper APA will head out on the road to take on Rowland Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Rowland Hall focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday. As for St. Joseph, they will be playing at home against Maeser Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Maeser Prep Academy is ranked 125th, while St. Joseph is ranked 127th).
