Kramer Made His Presence Known in North Putnam's 56-22 Win
Starting off the list is North Putnam's Christian Kramer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kramer rushed for 249 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 91 yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards.
If the past is any indication, Kramer could be in store for another big game when he takes on Brown County on Friday. Tayt Jackson was a major factor in Cloverdale's victory over Greencastle on Friday. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (107). He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 81 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Jackson might just drop another big game when he faces off against West Vigo on Friday. When Jackson last faced the Vikings back in October of 2023, he rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also picked up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown.
