It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Appalachian had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles 61-27. Appalachian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Appalachian's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Jefferson Christian Academy, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
