Garrett Arch posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances.

Arch and Sherman Oaks CES will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northridge Academy at 2:30 p.m. on the 25th. The Knights got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Pumas thanks in part to Arch: he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
