Berry has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Myers Park Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berry will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 460th, while Myers Park is ranked sixth).
Last Friday, Berry lost to Olympic on the road by a decisive 46-30 margin.
Meanwhile, Myers Park put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Military Magnet Academy by a score of 49-39. The score was all tied up 18-18 at the break, but Myers Park was the better team in the second half.
Berry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Myers Park, they pushed their record up to 17-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Berry took a serious blow against Myers Park when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 73-20. Thankfully for Berry, Kamora Cannie (who scored 23 points along with five steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
