Cerritos came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 50-0 win over the Glenn Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Dons, who have now won five games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Cerritos' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justin Sagun led the charge by throwing for 134 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 38 yards and one score. Terrence Grissom was another key player, gaining 103 total yards and a touchdown.

Cerritos didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Grissom and Sebastian Soto.

Cerritos' victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Glenn, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Cerritos will face off against Fillmore at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Flashes' defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so the Dons' offense will have their work cut out for them. Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
