Volleyball Recap: Ridgefield Wins Going Away Against St. Joseph

Ridgefield won the last time they faced St. Joseph and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers blew past the Cadets 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-20.

Will McKerracher paced Ridgefield's offense, picking up 16 kills. McKerracher got some help from Adam Swiergosz and his 36 assists. Finally, John Santos kept Ridgefield's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Ridgefield's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for St. Joseph, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgefield will take on Bridgeport Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Joseph, they will venture away from home to challenge McMahon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
