The Miami East Vikings put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Lehman Catholic on the road to the tune of 47-11. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 25-5.
Miami East got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Camryn Francis out in front who scored 13 points. Francis' trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Mckayah Musselman, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Miami East's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0. As for Lehman Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
Miami East will head out on the road to challenge Milton-Union at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Milton-Union is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Lehman Catholic, they will be playing at home against Bethel at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bethel has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9.
