Hawken hasn't lost a match since August 15th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Mentor Cardinals with a sharp 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Hawken, who have now won eight matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Mentor with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tristen Boseman (2), Joey Skoczen, Gabe Parry, and Jack Gallagher.

Hawken's win bumped their record up to 11-1-1. As for Mentor, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
