The Highland Hawks waltzed into Tuesday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past St. Michael the Archangel 79-36 at home. With Highland ahead 38-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Despite the defeat, St. Michael the Archangel saw an underclassman step up: Odita Aguolu scored 13 points. Aguolu scored a full 36.1% of St. Michael the Archangel's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The win got Highland back to even at 3-3. As for St. Michael the Archangel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Highland will face off against Episcopal at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Michael the Archangel, they will head out on the road to face off against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
