Baseball Recap: Jesuit Wins Going Away Against Granite Bay

Jesuit hadn't done well against Granite Bay recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Marauders blew past the Grizzlies 9-2. For the Marauders, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Grizzlies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Jesuit got a great performance from Owen Page as he tossed six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits.

At the plate, Cade Colombara was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Jordan Walczykowski was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Jesuit's record is now 17-9. As for Granite Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.

Jesuit will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Grizzlies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
