Eastern Hancock won the last time they faced Daleville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Royals put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 14-5 victory. With that win, the Royals brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Eastern Hancock let Hannah Wittgren and Lilli Ringer run wild. Wittgren went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs, while Ringer went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That home run marked the first that Wittgren has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Makenna Mason, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eastern Hancock kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Eastern Hancock's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Daleville, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Eastern Hancock will challenge Tri at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Royals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Daleville, they will take on Elwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Broncos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season.
