Hanford entered their tilt with Hermiston on Wednesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hanford pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Hermiston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hanford will take on rival Kamiakin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 4.1, the Braves 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Hermiston is set to face off against their familiar foe Kennewick at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
