The Conard Red Wolves won the last time they faced the Southington Blue Knights, and things went their way on Friday too. Conard walked away with a 44-32 win over Southington. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Conard.
Several Blue Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Roxy Cardillo, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Grace Russo, who scored nine points.
Conard's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Southington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Conard will head out on the road to face off against Ridgefield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southington, they will play host again and welcome Windsor, where tip off is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
