With a playoff win on the line, McDonell Central rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Regis Ramblers 12-1. Considering the Macks have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fourth in a row for McDonell Central, bringing their record up to 19-6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Regis, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: McDonell Central beat the Ramblers by a score of 12-1 later that day.
