The Franklin Academy Panthers will square off against the Greater Miami Academy Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Greater Miami Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Franklin Academy, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, Franklin Academy beat Flanagan 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.
The win didn't come easy: Flanagan scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 22-25, 25-23.

Franklin Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Cefora Martinez, who had 16 digs and one assist, and Valeria Ceron, who had nine kills, six digs, three aces, and one block. That's the most kills Ceron has posted over her last six matches.
They weren't the only good servers: Franklin Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 8-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Greater Miami Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Archimedean, falling 3-0.
The final score came out to 25-21, 25-11, 25-15.
Franklin Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Greater Miami Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Everything went Franklin Academy's way against Greater Miami Academy when the teams last played back in September, as Franklin Academy made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
