There's no place like home for the Fultondale Wildcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Dora 60-29 at home. Given Fultondale's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Dora is ranked 293rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Dora still got an impressive performance from Josh Williams, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Fultondale has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Dora, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-11.
Fultondale will be playing at home against Corner at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dora, they will head out on the road to challenge Sumiton Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Sumiton Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
