After a string of 11 wins, Eastern's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wahama White Falcons by a score of 8-7. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the White Falcons earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Hunter Needs was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Ethan Edwards, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Wahama, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern will head out to square off against Symmes Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wahama, they will venture away from home to take on Ritchie County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the White Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
