 In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Wayland sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 19-25, 25-19, 23-25,  15-12.
Wayland's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for West Catholic, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-14-4 record  this season.
 Wayland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-1  defeat against Cedar Springs on the 23rd. As for West Catholic, they will challenge Thornapple Kellogg at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
