Bountiful is a perfect 10-0 against Northridge since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Redhawks will challenge the Knights at 10:30 a.m.
Bountiful is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Woods Cross, who was ranked second at the time (Bountiful was ranked 19th). The Redhawks came up short against the Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Redhawks' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
While Bountiful was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Woods Cross' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-16.

Despite the defeat, Bountiful had strong showings from McKinely Duryea, who had eight digs and one assist, and Milika Satuala, who had 16 kills and five digs. Satuala has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 58 times she's played.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Northridge rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Royals by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 25-22, 25-20.
Bountiful's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Northridge, their victory bumped their record up to 18-11.
Everything went Bountiful's way against Northridge in their previous meeting back in August, as Bountiful made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redhawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
