Battle Creek has gone 8-2 against O'Neill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Braves will take on the Eagles at 9:00 a.m. O'Neill took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Battle Creek, who comes in off a win.
On Thursday, Battle Creek earned a 2-0 win over Wisner-Pilger. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.
Battle Creek easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20.

Battle Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marissa Hitz, who had 11 assists and four aces. Hitz has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ali Korth, who had five kills, four digs, and two aces.
Meanwhile, O'Neill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Cedar Catholic. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 25-15 in the first set.
O'Neill started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-17, 25-21.
O'Neill's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Battle Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
