Brimfield waltzed into their contest  on Saturday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over the Peoria Christian Chargers. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 18 matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.

He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Bizosky was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Brady Johnson and  Layne Johnson did most of the damage at the plate:  Brady  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  home run and four  RBI, while  Layne  fired off four  doubles, two  RBI,  and one  run while going 4-for-4. Those  four  doubles gave  Layne a new career-high.  Dane Fagerburg was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs.
 Brimfield  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Peoria Christian only posted  an  OBP of  .333.
Brimfield's victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 26-4-1. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Peoria Christian, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record  this season.
