Redan had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Friday they take on Cedar Grove at At Godfrey Stadium at 5:15 PM. Redan are limping into the match on a five-game losing streak.
Redan found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-35 punch to the gut against Pace Academy. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a suprise as Pace Academy enjoys a considerable advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Cedar Grove and Lovett. Everything came up roses for Cedar Grove against Lovett as the squad secured a 45-0 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.
Redan took a serious blow against Cedar Grove the last time the two teams met, falling 0-73. Can Redan avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
