Lewis Cass got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kinsey Mennen out in front who scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which Mennen has scored at least 25% of Lewis Cass' points. Aftin Griffin was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 5 steals.
Logansport's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lydia Goad, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals. Goad scored a full 27.8% of Logansport's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Aracyn Good, who scored 9 points.
Lewis Cass' win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Logansport, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Lewis Cass is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Rossville at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Rossville will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Logansport will take on Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Harrison focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Saturday.
