Winfield-Mt. Union had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 28-52 walloping at Springville hands. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Winfield-Mt. Union off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Springville a 1-0 record.
Next week, Winfield-Mt. Union take on English Valleys at 7:00 PM. As for Springville, they will face of against Tripoli.
