The Northwood Rangers will be playing at home against the Waite Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Northwood will be strutting in after a victory while Waite will be coming in after a defeat.
On Thursday, Northwood earned a 36-28 win over Crestline. The win was just what Northwood needed coming off of a 57-26 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Waite's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Firestone, falling 60-12. Waite was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-2.
Northwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Waite, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-9.
Everything came up roses for Northwood against Waite when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 49-5 victory. With Northwood ahead 26-2 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
